Gucci Mane was arrested after evading a warrant for several days.
He’s been charged with two counts of assault after hitting a U.S. Army soldier, who was seeking an autograph, with a bottle.
Gucci Mane was denied bond so he will be incarcerated until his April 10 court date.
"Mr. Davis has a history, we’re not going to skirt that issue," Gucci’s lawyer Drew Findling told press outside of the courthouse. "That history made it difficult for him to get bond today."
